At Bransford Electrical & Mechanical Services, Inc., we’re a long-standing electrical and mechanical company based in Lafayette, Tennessee. We are fully insured and licensed in Tennessee and multiple states.

Our business is owned and operated by Phillip Bransford and his wife, Cynthia. Founded in the early 1950s by Phillip’s father, a Korean War veteran who served as an engineer, our company has a proud history of service and expertise.

Our Story

1950

Originally Established

It was originally established in the early 1950s by Phillip’s father after he returned from the Korean War, where he served as an engineer.

1985

Phillip Took Over Full Operation

Phillip began by helping his father as a teenager, working weekends and summers until graduation, when he came on full time.

2015

Cynthia Joining

The business began with plumbing and later expanded into air conditioning. After Cynthia joined in 2015, the business continued to grow.

2024

Expanding

Today we offer heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing service and installation for both residential and commercial customers.

Randel was more than a valued team member; he was a pillar of our community and a model of hard work and character. A proud veteran who started his military service the day JFK was shot, Randel later served as Mayor of Red Boiling Springs, always leading with integrity and heart. Known for his incredible work ethic and dedication, he was an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Randel’s legacy of unwavering commitment and passion for life will always be remembered and cherished by our team.
