Phillip and Cynthia Bransford own and operate the business, which was originally established in the early 1950s by Phillip’s father after serving as an engineer in the Army during the Korean War. Phillip started working with his father when he was about 12 years old and then working with him full time when he was 17. Phillip and Cynthia took over full operations in 1985.

The business began with plumbing and later expanded into air conditioning. “Early on, air conditioning was a luxury for people but then it became more of a necessity,” Phillip explained. The business kept growing and expanding; today, Bransford Electrical & Mechanical Services, Inc. offers heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing expertise with a large team of skilled technicians and they are licensed in multiple states.

Cynthia Bransford attributes their success to a long-standing tradition of knowledge and always putting customers first. “We try to base our entire business practices on honesty and with an appreciation for our customers. We try to make customer service our number one priority.” She added that. “People choose us because we try to be available, try to get it done in a timely manner, and try to do everything to the best of our ability.”
